It can often be hard to understand how skills learnt in employment can be useful and transferrable to other job roles. Retrain takes the skills and attributes gained through a specific job role and matches these to other jobs, allowing users to understand what skills they have and how they relate to other occupations.

Dynamic skills matching and job recommendation

Every job in Retrain has a set of skills and attributes assigned to them. Our skills matching software utilses complex algorithms to crunch the data and match jobs on skills and attributes. Retrain filters the results by suggesting jobs in the same sector as well as in different sectors all based on percentage match.

Automatic course to career mapping

No need for time consuming mapping of courses to careers. By scanning your website to pick up specific data points, we map your courses to careers using our 'LARs code to career' automatic mapping technology. This means you can have Retrain up and running within hours.

Integrates seamlessly into the user journey on your website

Retrain is designed to be embedded into a single full page of your website. Its simple layout and colour customisation allows for seamless integration with your website. If you already have a Pathways licence, you can use Retrain now. However there are a few things we recommend you do before getting started.

We scan your website and import your courses into Pathways

Your courses are automatically mapped to careers based on their LARS codes

You create a new page on your website for Retrain to reside

Use the provided embed code to add Retrain to your website

Retrain works best when your courses are mapped to the careers held in Pathways. We will manage the import process for you, for free.
